We are looking for an IT Application Specialist who will join the ICT Dept. and support the team in the RMS and Omnichannel system implementation, maintenance and roll-out, as well as in any other project delivery and implementation in Retail and/or other functional areas.

Activities and responsibilities are:

  • Support the analysis and definition of application solutions of Business Requirements on current RMS and Omnichannel platforms (RetailPro Prism and Venistar CX) by:
  • Participating and contributing to the collection of technical-functional requirements
  • Contributing to the definition of solutions to the system or by implementing identified solutions
  • Proposing innovative application solutions
  • Collaborating in the training of users, process documentation preparation, and operations support
  • Supporting test activities and contributing to the operation of new system components
  • Support the analysis and resolution of issues on current RMS and Omnichannel platforms
  • Support the Retail Colleagues and Operations (both HQ and In Store)
  • Support the Colleagues of the Digital & eCommerce and Operations teams
  • Support the analysis and definition of application solutions/resolution on issues for what concerns Retail and Omnichannel Reporting (MS Power BI and Tabular)
  • Work with the team on the project delivery or Implementation of other systems in Retail as well as in other functional areas

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer science, Engineering or similar and has the following characteristics:

  • At least 2 years experience in the role in the Consulting, System Integration or Retail industries
  • Excellent command of ITC instruments, such as:
  • Knowledge of RMS Solution (RetailPro Prism)
  • Knowledge of Omnichannel Platform (Venistar CX is a Plus)
  • Knowledge of the functioning of a relational database (e.g. Access, SQL server, MySQL, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of Reporting tools (MS Power BI, MS Integration and reporting Services)
  • Knowledge of ERP Software is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
  • Programming skills (e.g. Java, HTML, C++, X + +, .net, PL/SQL)
  • Excellent command of Office Suite
