Campodoro, Italy

The candidate will join the Procurement Team of our Manufacturing Plant in Campodoro and will have responsibility on the following activities:

  • Analyze current flow of materials and suggest for new warehouse appropriate location of items depending on their consumption and volume
  • Design internal logistic solutions for optimizing the handling process while reducing picking costs
  • Choose the appropriate storage equipment, both in terms of the type of system and forklift trucks or handling equipment used
  • Suggest new warehouse and assembly lines layout
  • Suppliers/Customers orders issue and price list management
  • Orders progress check, in alignment with Chinese Operations Office and foreign suppliers
  • Follow-up of production planning, date management/maintenance and workload control
  • Transport quotation and scheduling
  • Collaborate with production leadership to determine organizational needs across a standard calendar year
  • Develop a high-level view of supply chain processes and implement improvements.

The ideal Candidate has the following characteristics:

  • Previous experiences in the role of 2 years
  • Excellent command of Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of modern ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company Information Systems
  • Understanding of numbers, series, encodings
  • Proactivity and resilience
  • Aptitude for problem solving
  • Fluency in English.
