PLANNING & PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR

We are looking for a qualified Planning & Procurement Planner to organize Helmets production according to demand and quality standards. The Candidate – reporting to Group Planning & Procurement Manager – will coordinate a team and will be responsible for ensuring our goods are produced on time for distribution and in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities are:

• Coordinate Motorcycle Helmets planning & procurement workflow
• Plan and Schedule Dainese and 3rd party production sites/suppliers
• Data maintenance and planning setup (MPS/MRP)
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Finished goods and raw material procurement, both from production sites and suppliers
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Analysis of production progress and saturation of production lines versus BDG/FC objectives
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Follow up inbound logistics activities
• Cooperate on production Budget & Forecast release
• Feasibility check of new products on production vs time to market, in collaboration with R&D Dept. and Category Managers
• Reporting on stock and production KPI

The ideal candidate meets these essential requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in the role
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and procurement system and tools
• Experience in product and market focused companies
• Management experience in Supply Chain projects
• Fluency in English
• Good knowledge of company structured ERP, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
