PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER - BIKE
Vicenza, Italy
The ideal candidate is talented and passionate about the outdoor world and will drive the marketing strategies for our bike product lines.
Activities are:
- Identify consumer needs and future trends
- Align with Category Manager on long-term strategic vision
- Realize qualitative and quantitative analysis of product market, competitors, and end users
- Define an inherent product range and business plan to be presented to the Category Manager
- Define product/collection inputs
- Coordinate with the R&D Department for the correct execution of the range plan according to the specifications and timing required
- Manage output and project timing from input to sales samples and production delivery
- Assume the role of facilitator and coordinator among cross-functional teams involved in product life cycle
- Monitor product/collection profitability in comparison to the targets set and manage corrective actions;
- Monitor product life cycle (PLC);
- Meet customers and attend events to support product marketing activities
- Ensure the development and maintenance of the technical and promotional product documentation
- Relate to Marketing dpt to deploy a successful Go To Market plan
- Support the Technical Area in the activities of products defects cancellation and product industrialization
- Provide support and training to the sale force;
- Work with Racing Dept. to support athletes’specific needs.
The ideal Candidate has a degree in economic or engineering subjects and has the following characteristics:
- Knowledge of technical sportswear industry and technical materials, soft and hard goods
- Capacity to simultaneously handle several projects, managing priorities and deadlines
- Problem solving skills and proactive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills
- Depth knowledge of the Office suite, in particular Power Point and Excel
- Fluency in English
- Availability to travel
- Enthusiastic about and active in outdoor sports (especially cycling).
